Recycled instead of discarded

What happens to empty cardboard boxes at Hygolet? We have acquired a shredding machine that turns old boxes directly into new packaging material. This brings a double benefit. We significantly reduce the amount of cardboard we have to dispose of while saving on the purchase of new packaging material.

In addition, packaging material from our own production is recycled here as well. Incoming filler material that is still clean and usable is collected and reused for our outgoing shipments. This creates a genuine cycle. What arrives at our premises as packaging leaves our warehouse again as protection for our products on their way to our customers.

For us, this is sustainability in practice. No elaborate disposal process and no unnecessary new purchases, just a simple, effective contribution to less waste and better resource conservation. Because our goal remains to become more sustainable step by step, through long-lasting products, responsible procurement and consistent recycling.
