Because the purchase supports Viva con Agua’s WASH projects, which promote global access to water, sanitation and hygiene. The sustainable toilet paper is made from 100% recycled paper and is certified with the Blue Angel environmental seal. Significantly less water and energy is used in its production, saving a lot of CO2. The packaging of the Goldeimer toilet paper is made of so-called Granic foil, which consists of 15% chalk and 60% recycled plastic. This means that the packaging remains tear-resistant and can still be completely recycled. The new packaging eliminates the carrying handle, saving 20% plastic. In addition, the new rolls are less printed and contain many new motifs that draw attention to sanitary issues.
